Breakaway Power Skating offers a wide range of instructional services from group camps, individual training, small group, team session and programs for associations. We also offer specialized classes on edges, defense, over speed training and video skating analysis. Our best in class coaching staff looks forward to working with all levels of players.
GROUP CAMPS
We offer a number of power skating camps throughout the year. Camps are available to hockey and ringetter players 5 years and older. We also offer a number of specialized camps focusing on edges, defense and over speed training.
INDIVIDUAL & SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Reserved for players/groups wanting the utmost personal attention. Programs are fully customized for individuals or groups. During individual sessions players receive on ice video analysis in order to drive home teaching points. Have your own small group get in touch with us regarding instructor availability and customization.
TEAM SESSION
We can attend a practice and run a fully customized program for your team and we offer discounts for multiple bookings. Coaches are encouraged to attend sessions to learn key teaching points. If you do not have many full ice practices partner up with the other team and split the cost and maxmize the full ice.
ASSOCIATIONS
Is your association looking for professional specialized skating session as part of your development plan. Coaches are fully encouraged to attend the on-ice sessions to see drills first hand, understand key teaching points and ultimately to incorporate the skating skills into the overall team development plan.
SKATING VIDEO ANALYSIS
A picture is worth a thousand words. How many times have you asked your son/daughter or player, are you bending your knees nice and deep and they say YES!! We all know in actuality this seldom happens. We use vidoe analysis to provide immediate feedback in individual sessions. Very soon we will be providing team sessions and group camps where players will be provided a detailed video analysis of their skating stride.
