These small-group sessions focus on two of the most critical skating skills for defencemen: explosive backward starts and efficient forward-to-backward transitions.

With a maximum 4:1 player-to-coach ratio and every group led by a Master or Head Instructor, athletes receive detailed, high-level instruction and individualized feedback throughout each session.

Players will develop the technique, power, and efficiency behind their first three explosive backward strides, helping them accelerate quickly, establish position, control gaps, and create separation when it matters most.

Sessions also focus on forward-to-backward transitions, teaching players to change direction efficiently and powerfully while maintaining momentum, balance, and control.
